When you think about a narcissist what comes to mind?

Do you think of the life of the party bragging about their accomplishments to anyone who will listen? Or someone out there seducing people with their considerable charms only to torture them once they are caught in their narc web?

In this episode, you’ll learn the top 10 signs to help you spot a covert narcissist, because this personality type can be even trickier and more insidious than the overt narc.

This kind of narcissist might be flying under the radar because they can come off as shy or even awkward unlike what we typically might think characterizes these personality types. Raising your awareness is the first step to proactively protecting yourself!

Have you ever described yourself or someone else as having OCD?

I recently had someone write to me about their “neat freak” partner, referring to them as having OCD, and I was like…hold up. Not everyone who likes things orderly has obsessive-compulsive disorder, yet it’s a term that gets thrown around lightly.

It is much more complicated than excessive hand washing or checking that the stove is actually off.

In this episode, I’m covering the differences between obsessive-compulsive disorder and a need for order and cleanliness. Plus, what it is, the way that it can present, and the real struggles that people with OCD face.

Remember, learning how to talk about mental health with sensitivity and compassion starts with getting informed so let’s go!

We chat about managing the anxiety that comes with creating passionate, disruptive work. Plus, she shares the story behind her new record, “God’s Work,” and the single “The Wild.”

Do you ever wonder how you’re doing when it comes to boundaries?

Healthy boundary setting is a lifetime skill and that means it takes practice. Our boundaries continually evolve throughout our lives and our relationships, so even if you feel like you’re already a boundary boss, it’s great to take an inventory every so often.

In today's episode, I'm breaking down the five different types of boundaries and walking you through how to do a boundary inventory so you can see where to focus your attention to strengthen your skills.
